Airless bottles are assemblies, not mouldings: body, inner container, piston or pouch, engine, actuator and overcap have to be engineered together and function-tested together. That is why we only quote airless engines with a matched body.

Piston or pouch
Both architectures prevent air returning to the pack; the choice is about viscosity, formula value and cost.
- Piston systems: simplest, most common, handle creams and serums from about 2,000 cP upward
- Pouch (bag-in-bottle) systems: separate the formula from the outer wall, suit very low viscosity or reactive formulas
- Piston systems are usually lower cost and easier to fill; pouch systems have higher part cost
- Refill designs exist for both, replacing the inner container while the decorated body is reused

What is the MOQ for airless bottles?
3,000 pcs per size for stock airless moulds, and about 10,000 pcs per size where a custom airless body is moulded. Dual-chamber assemblies start at 5,000 pcs.
How do I choose the dose per stroke for an airless bottle?
Work from the label instruction: 0.10–0.20 ml for eye products, 0.20–0.30 ml for face serums and creams, 0.30–0.50 ml for body and sun care. The engine fixes the dose, so choose it before the fill volume.
Does airless packaging need special filling equipment?
Airless packs are filled bottom-up or with vacuum assistance to avoid trapped air, and we supply fill temperature and speed guidance with the production order.
Can you supply refillable airless bottles?
Yes. Refill kits keep the outer decorated body and replace the sealed cartridge and piston, validated with insertion force, seal integrity and dose consistency testing across cycles.
