Bottking
Plastic Bottles
We manufacture plastic cosmetic bottles from 15 ml to 1,000 ml in PET, PP, HDPE and acrylic, closed with disc caps, flip-tops, pumps, droppers, sprayers or airless assemblies and decorated to your brand specification.
Key topics
- •PET, PP or HDPE — how to choose
- •Closures and dispensing
- •Specification questions we ask first

Bottles are the workhorse of skincare packaging: they dispense fluid formulas cleanly, protect the product between uses and offer the best cost per millilitre of any primary pack. The three decisions that matter are material, capacity and closure.
Material follows the formula. PET for clarity and cost, PP for chemical resistance, heat tolerance and recyclability, HDPE for opaque formats above 250 ml where cost per unit dominates. Capacity follows the fill volume plus 3–10% overfill, and closure follows the texture and how the product is used.

PET Bottles
PET cosmetic bottles are clear, lightweight, strong and cost-effective, which makes them the most common choice for lotions, toners, cleansers and body care in retail volumes of 30 ml to 500 ml.

HDPE Bottles
HDPE cosmetic bottles are opaque, durable, chemical-resistant and the most cost-effective option above 250 ml, which is why they dominate cleansers, shampoo, body wash and professional-size skincare.

PP Bottles
PP cosmetic bottles combine heat and chemical resistance with mono-material recyclability, making them the default choice for travel sizes, treatment formats, professional products and refillable systems.

Cosmetic Bottles
Plastic cosmetic bottles are the largest packaging family in skincare: 15 ml to 1,000 ml formats in PET, PP or HDPE, closed with a disc, pump, sprayer, dropper or cap and decorated with your brand colour and logo.

Lotion Bottles
Lotion bottles are medium-to-large plastic bottles, normally 50–500 ml, closed with a disc-top cap, flip-top or lotion pump to dispense viscous emulsions reliably.

Serum Bottles
Serum bottles are small, high-precision packs — usually 15 ml to 50 ml — closed with a dropper, treatment pump or airless pump, and finished to premium retail standards because the packaging often justifies a high price per millilitre.

Cleanser Bottles
Cleanser bottles are 100–500 ml HDPE or PET packs with wide necks for thick gels, closed with flip-top caps, pumps, foam pumps or disc tops depending on the texture and how the product is used in the shower.

Shampoo Bottles
Shampoo bottles are high-volume HDPE or PET packs, typically 250 ml to 1,000 ml, designed for wet handling with flip-top caps, disc tops or pumps and closed with the cost and carton efficiency of the whole line in mind.

Dropper Bottles
Dropper bottles are 15–50 ml packs closed with a pipette assembly, giving controlled drop-by-drop dosing for serums, oils, boosters and scalp treatments.

View Product →PET, PP or HDPE — how to choose
Use this table as a first filter, then confirm with a compatibility check on the actual pack if your formula contains solvents, high alcohol, essential oils or strong acids.
| Requirement | Recommended material | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Clear or translucent bottle | PET | Best clarity-to-cost ratio, holds precise neck finishes |
| Acid, alcohol or hot-filled formula | PP | Widest chemical compatibility, higher heat tolerance |
| Opaque bottle above 250 ml | HDPE | Lowest cost per unit, blocks light, widely available in PCR |
| Recyclable mono-material pack | PP or HDPE | PP bottle with PP pump or cap forms one polymer stream |
| Glass feel without breakage | Thick-wall PETG or acrylic outer | Visual weight and clarity, shatter resistant |
| Recycled content requirement | PCR PET, PCR PP or PCR HDPE | Documented recycled percentage on certified grades |
Closures and dispensing
The closure is where the pack either works or fails on the filling line and in the customer's bathroom. Standard neck finishes such as 24/410 keep closures interchangeable across a range.
- Disc-top cap — free-flowing lotions and toners, lowest cost
- Flip-top cap — gel cleansers, shampoo, shower products
- Lotion pump — moisturisers and body care, 0.5–2.0 ml dose
- Treatment pump — serums and fluids, 0.10–0.30 ml dose
- Dropper — oils and serum concentrates, drop-by-drop dosing
- Sprayer — toners, mists and setting sprays
- Airless pump — actives that require air-free dispensing
Specification questions we ask first
Send these five figures and we can quote a correct format on the first reply: fill volume and formula density, viscosity, active ingredients with compatibility risks, target retail price band, and total launch quantity.
Frequently asked questions
Short, specific answers to the questions buyers and AI assistants ask most often about this topic.
What is the MOQ for plastic cosmetic bottles?
Stock mould bottles start at 1,000 pcs per design, decorated orders usually at 3,000 pcs, and custom-moulded bottles typically at 10,000 pcs per size.
Can I mix bottle types in one order?
Yes. Mixed-format orders are quoted together for one MOQ plan, which is common for brand launches covering serum, cream, lotion and cleanser formats at once.
Can bottles be supplied with the closure assembled?
Yes. Bottles ship with closures assembled and torqued, or unassembled if your filling line prefers to fit them after filling.
