Labelling applies pre-printed film or paper to the pack, giving full-colour artwork, variable content and multi-SKU flexibility at low set-up cost — with the caveat that labels affect recyclability sorting.

Labels are the most flexible and cost-efficient way to put complex information on packaging: ingredient lists, regulatory panels, multi-language copy and per-variant artwork without new print tooling for the primary pack.
The trade-off is end-of-life. A full-body wrap or shrink sleeve covers the pack in a different polymer and can prevent accurate sorting in automated recycling facilities, which matters when recyclability claims are part of the brand message.

Specification and durability
Label performance depends on adhesive selection and surface energy as much as on the film. Bathroom humidity, oil contact and shower temperature are the real test conditions, so we specify adhesive per product type and verify with a soak test for high-exposure formats.

Is labelling cheaper than printing?
It depends on quantity and colour count. Labelling avoids screen or die set-up, so it is cheaper for short runs and complex artwork. Above roughly 30,000 pcs with two or three colours, direct printing usually wins on unit cost.
Can you apply labels or do I apply them myself?
We can supply packs pre-labelled by our decoration partner, or ship unlabelled for your own application line. Pre-labelling adds handling cost and requires the label artwork earlier in the schedule.
How do labels affect recyclability?
Full-body sleeves and large wrap labels can interfere with optical sorting and reduce the recycled output quality, so we recommend front-and-back labelling or direct printing where recyclability claims are made.
Do you supply labels in my country's required format?
We supply the printed label to your artwork. Regulatory text and claim wording remain the brand's responsibility, and we flag layout constraints such as minimum text size on the dieline.
